Welcome Letter
Dear Secrist Families and Students,
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Secrist Middle School! If you are a returning family/student, we would like to welcome you back! We are very excited to see all of you! We have missed you and cannot wait to have you on campus. Our first class begins at 7:45 a.m., so please be on time and be ready to learn! School is dismissed at 2:45 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, school is dismissed at 1:45 p.m. This year, breakfast and lunch will be free for all students. Breakfast will be available from 7:15 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. every morning.
If you have not registered online or in-person, please do so today. The school office is open, so please call if you need assistance: 520-731-5300. When registering your student, please provide the following: Birth Certificate, Parent ID, Proof of Residency, and updated student immunization records. If you have already uploaded these documents, you do not need to bring them with you. The State does require us to collect a new Proof of Residency each year. After completing registration, students and families are welcome to visit the campus areas to become familiar with class locations.
There are class fees for the following: P.E. shirts and locks ($15 for shirt and lock rental fee). Students may wear their own PE bottoms: longer soccer shorts, school appropriate longer in length shorts. Sports ($30), Fine Arts ($10) and the Yearbook ($12-This is optional).
